During the practical part of the workshop, a library of folk polyphonic audio samples and a virtual musical instrument “Digital Sutartinės” will be created. In addition, demo musical compositions will be created, which will integrate sutartinės music into computer games, telephony, MIDI and other areas of electronic music or media. Workshop participants will also have a theoretical course in the Lithuanian traditional polyphonic singing and the basic course in creation of sample based musical instruments.

The Workshop will result in a creative project presented during the conference “Music and Sound Design in Film / New Media”.
